The Hansen family was founded by Gesa Hansen, who grew up in a family of designers, architects and carpenters, and modernized an old collection of family sketches to bring about the Remix collection and subsequent collaborations. The family nature of the business strikes an authentic balance, rooting the designs in tradition, whilst the additions of color, clever storage and modern function allow the collection to speak both a classic and modern language. With their Atelier located in the forests of Germany, the company combines sleek and thoughtful Scandinavian design with hand selected wood to give each piece a unique and handcrafted character
