furniture: knife and saw

wood furniture by knife and saw

“I have a knack for reverse engineering and willingness to fail miserably, both of which I think help a lot.”

Chris Brigham is the maker behind Knife and Saw, a company he started in San Francisco after a career as a graphic designer and a long term ambition to create something tangible with his hands. His aim is to run it as a problem solving company where clients present the challenges. This gives his work a versatile feel where furniture runs between complex and experimental, from family to artistic, and his accessories include the one and only original bike shelf, but all of it retains consistency and that individual maker quality. A great slice of homely and warming combined with a minimalist design sense from the bay area.
