The Turned Stool is the designer's first in a series of a foray into large scale woodturning.  The form of a stool is chosen both for its functionality and beauty as a stand alone sculptural piece.  Grouped together to form a side table, used at a dining table to squeeze another guest in, or simply to host your favorite sculptures - the stool is one of the most overlooked designs of the past 50 years.  Carefully crafted from thick laminated figured wood to avoid checking, each piece is hand shaped and slightly unique from the last.
